Volunteer Volunteer

Job Description

Our volunteer drivers transport people, dogs and equipment around the region. Our most regular 'ask' is to take guide dogs and their owners to the vet. You will need a car that can accommodate a retriever/labrador sized dog (we like our dogs to travel in the boot space with a guard or on the back seat with a car harness) and have availability during the working week as well as 'out of hours'. Full travel expenses are provided as is comprehensive training. Because drivers may be working with our service users and dogs we ask them to undertake a DBS check, safeguarding course and dog handling training.
