This role is key to developing Guide Dogs presence in the local community by coordinating our growing speaker scheme. Our speakers go into the local community to spread the word about the life changing work of Guide Dogs. You would help match speakers to speaker requests and then liaison between them and the venue by phone and email making sure everything runs smoothly. You'd also keep an accurate record of where our speakers have visited and collate feedback from both the speaker and community group.
You'd be volunteering in our friendly team in the Newcastle Office for the equivalent of 2 half days a week. Training in our data and recording systems will be given but it's essential that you can use excel, word and outlook and have a good phone manner.
