Established in 2001, The Churn Project is a small, grassroots charity working alongside the people of Cirencester to reduce isolation and improve quality of life and well-being.

We were initially set up to support the communities of Watermoor, Chesterton and Beeches – areas of Cirencester with significant levels of deprivation and where around 65% of the total town population lives. Although these parts of the town remain our priority, our services and activities can now be accessed by everyone living in Cirencester and the surrounding villages. We estimate that around 1500 local people per year are directly supported through our services, with over 5000 households receiving our newsletter.
