Are you a Special Events Assistant looking for your next step in charity event management – but looking for something a little bit different – then this is the job for you! Responsibilities: 1. Front of house Special Events Manager representing Givergy at Client events (approximately 3 events per week) 2. Training and recruitment of freelance Event Management staff 3. Attending Client Meetings pre-events to discuss their requirements for on the night 4. Planning and Managing Givergy Client Events – including Stewardship Events, Client Forums, Webinars, Prospective Client engagement events, Networking events, Summer and Christmas Drinks 5. Planning and Managing Red Group Staff Events – including Summer Party and Christmas Party 6. Following up with guests post events to take payments when necessary 7. Assisting with scheduling freelance staff for events when necessary 8. Any additional duties as relevant to the role Skills required: 1. Exceptional Project/Event Management and organisations skills 2. Exceptional attention to detail 3. Excellent at communicating effectively in person, over the phone and by email 4. The ability to build strong relationships 5. The ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines 6. Effective problem solving Additional package information: London based, 23 days annual leave plus paid Public holidays.
