The Marketing Associate must be an energetic self-starter who understands the company’s brand and the market(s) in which it operates. You must have the necessary skills to create marketing materials such as presentations, digital content, printed material and reports, and quickly move projects along through completion upon appropriate approvals. You must also be resourceful and be able to develop a well-defined time management process in order to effectively activate the brand and progress the vision of the company. You will be the point of contact for Lumina’s PR agency, managing their schedule and filtering their coverage back to the management team. Core responsibilities include: Website Content Management (writing blog posts, adding imagery & adding sections) Social Media Management (posting content on relevant channels and engaging audiences) Email Campaign Management (content creation, testing, distribution & reporting) Event Planning & Management (guest list, invitations, confirmations and event delivery) PR Agency Project Management (liaising with our PR agency on a weekly basis) POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Degree in marketing, graphic design, or business, with professional experience relating to marketing and design DEMONSTRATED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Basic design skills Ability to work as part of a team Able to work independently but within strategic framework Good business acumen & understanding of professional/financial services sectors Willing to learn and ask questions Can handle many projects/assignments at the same time Strong organizational skills Project management skills The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements of the performance of this position.
